RF Products Tester I

The Microwave Tester/Technician is responsible to build, test, troubleshoot, repair RF Microwave passive components. The tasks include mechanical assembly, hand soldering, setting up/calibration of test equipment, and pressure testing waveguide components to insure produce meet and excessed M2 Global’s and the customer specifications.

Job Duties

  • Set-up, maintain, calibrate, and operate various test electronic equipment (i.e., power meters, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, synthesized sweepers, and magnet charges).
  • Perform test in accordance with established test procedures.
  • Record test results maintain work logs and status reports in accordance work instructions.
  • Performs troubleshooting return components (limited supervision required).
  • Must be familiar with assembly process area to include: potting, coating, and environmental tests to aid in problem identification and resolution.
  • Pre-and-post processing tasks include, but are not limited to, degreasing cleaning, blasting, visual and dimensional inspection.
  • Use of various measuring tools and gages such as go no-go gage, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Practice safe work habits as established by OSHA and M2 Global’s policy.

Sheetmetal Technician

Position Overview: The position progresses through two levels of Sheetmetal Fabrication.  Each level progresses through mastering additional technologies/processes.

The technologies are grouped as follows: Equipment Operator, Set up and precision measure as well as inventory control.  Proficiency in each technology is attained when the associate is able to safely set up and efficiently produce quality product for the given technology/process.

Essential Job Functions for all levels:

  • Lead and/or participate in Continuous Improvement activities, to include: 6S, Kaizen Events, Team Building, and Training.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Utilize IT hardware (keyboard, screen) to access and use M2M shop floor manager for the purposes of tracking labor, issuing materials, routing Job Orders (JO’s ) through the operations.
  • Participate in teaming activities, meetings and make suggestions to improve the flow of work, reduce set-up and run times.
  • Handle/move/count/issue/request- raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
  • Inspect work area and finished product for Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
  • Inspect parts to print specifications.
  • Fill out job order travelers and set up sheets.
  • Be on the alert for Foreign Object Debris.

CNC Machinist 1st & 2nd Shift

Journeyman level position responsible for setting up and running 3 and 4 axis CNC Machining centers.  The candidate will be responsible for machining both Aerospace and Telecommunications industry parts.  Knowledgeable of geometric dimensioning and tolerance and be capable of reading blueprints, using all measurement tools necessary and proving out machine programs.  Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors, such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, angle of cut or enters commands to retrieve, input or edit computerized machine control media.

Requirements

Associates Degree and 5+ years experience; Vocational/Technical training certification and 6+ years experience or High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and 7+ year’s experience.  Prefer Certified Machinist with experience in a precision metal fabrication operation.  Ability to read and interpret documents, operating maintenance instruction and procedure manuals and must be fluent in English, both written and oral.

Electrical RF Microwave Engineer

An established leader in the design and manufacture of Electronic RF Microwave Components and Sub-systems, we are seeking an experienced, hands-on Electrical RF Microwave Engineer for our design and manufacturing center located in the San Antonio, Texas area.

The RF Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, performance verification and production release of passive RF and microwave isolators and circulators to expand the company’s current product offering. In addition, this position will interface with other manufacturing engineering and management personnel to improve efficiency in all stages of the design and manufacturing process and establish benchmarks for continuous improvement.

This position requires an engineering degree with an emphasis in microwave RF technology and the ability to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance. A background in passive filter and coupler design, ISO 9000 quality systems and DOD Mil Standards would be a plus.

Fabrication Technician I

The Fabrication Technician I is responsible for receiving raw material such as steel, aluminum, brass, titanium that will be processed into aerospace parts kits. The technician will need to be able to read blueprints and read shop travelers to determine the proper length and width and grain direction to process the material using shears, vertical/horizontal band saws, and circular saws. Secondary operations will be performed using drill presses, grinders, and hand tools.

Job Duties

  • Set-up, maintain and operate various processing equipment to process a variety of parts.
  • Read and interprets basic blueprints.
  • Pre-and-post processing tasks include, but are not limited to, degreasing cleaning, blasting, visual and dimensional inspection.
  • Use of various measuring tools and gages such as go no-go gage, micrometers, calipers, and height gages.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance.
  • Maintain all required logs, documents, and records as required by process control.
  • Comply with all company, OSHA, safety, and quality procedures.
